Deven M. Patel, M.D., F.A.C.C., R.P.V.I

Dr. Deven Patel completed his Bachelors in Liberal Arts (B.L.A.) and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in a 6 year accelerated medical program at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at The Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Dr. Patel is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, Nuclear cardiology, and Vascular ultrasound interpretation. Dr. Patel serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistance Professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (F.A.C.C.), a distinguished designation from the American College of Cardiology in recognition of professional achievement and commitment to quality cardiovascular care.

Dr. Patel’s interests are in general cardiology, including preventive medicine, heart failure, coronary disease, preoperative cardiovascular evaluation, valve disease, atrial fibrillation/flutter, cardiovascular disease in the elderly, congenital heart disease, and other cardiovascular related diseases. He has also pioneered a cardio-oncology screening and prevention program for breast cancer patients in Fort Worth, receiving potentially cardiotoxic chemotherapy.

Dr. Patel has staff privileges at Plaza Medical Center, Baylor All Saints Hospital, Texas Health Harris at Fort Worth, Medical Center of Alliance, Texas Health Harris at Alliance, and North Hills Hospital. Dr. Patel has clinic offices in Fort Worth and Burleson.
