ASHESH PARIKH

Dr. Ashesh Parikh completed his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in North Carolina. He then went on to receive his DO medical degree from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, OH where he also served as the Chief Internal Medicine Resident in 2007-2008. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX where he served as the Chief Cardiology Fellow in 2013-2014. During his fellowship, he received the honor of being awarded Fellow of the Year in 2013 and 2014.

During his Cardiology Fellowship, Dr. Parikh participated in several research projects and was chosen to present at the Texas ACC meeting in 2012. He won 3rd place on his poster presentation for a case presentation of a “Very Late Stent Thrombosis in a Bare Metal Stent”. Below are his other case report publications thus far:

Dr. Parikh’s interests are in general cardiology, including preventive medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, heart failure, atrial fibrillation/flutter, congenital heart disease, venous insufficiency treatment, and other cardiovascular related diseases.

He is skilled in diagnostic left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, transesophageal echocardiography, temporary transvenous pacemaker placement, atrial fibrillation/flutter electrical cardioversion, vascular ultrasound interpretation and nuclear cardiology.

Dr. Parikh will have staff privileges at Plaza Medical Center, North Hills Hospital, Medical Center of Alliance, Texas Health Harris at Alliance, Baylor All Saints Hospital, Texas Health Harris at Fort Worth and Weatherford Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Parikh resides in Fort Worth with his wife and son, during his free time he enjoys traveling, playing tennis and racquetball, and spending time with family.

Dr. Parikh is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati and has offices in Fort Worth and Alliance.
